Ogechi Mgbudem(obi) is a Nigerian-American writer and photographer. Having graduated from the Ohio State University in 2020, she lives and works in Columbus, Ohio. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in French and Francophone studies with minors in screenwriting and photography.



Ogechi was born in Lagos, Nigeria and moved with her family to the United States in 2001. She uses the name “Mgbudemobi” as a reference to a family name that had been shed in the latest generations. She is an Aquarius.
